Whether you’re a beginner looking to improve your fitness and achieve your goals, a new mum looking to regain your pre pregnancy weight, returning to fitness after long term injury or illness or a serious fitness enthusiast looking for that next challenge, the Y Club Personal Trainers are here to help.

We help our clients achieve a healthy and sustainable weight loss, better tone and muscle strength, improved flexibility as well as renewed energy and well being. Our Personal Trainers are here to offer support, advice and guidance when training for specific events, such as triathlons. Working together can help you achieve a greater stamina and strength for events.

Clients receive a full fitness and health assessment as part of the initial session. It is our job to keep our clients motivated and focused towards achieving their goals. We do this by working with our clients to design a bespoke training program to meet the individual needs within the desired time frame. We are here to guide you through your workouts and to help you get the best results possible by offering more challenging and progressive sessions. We believe in making our clients feel comfortable as well as offering continual encouragement.

Our Personal Trainers are also qualified in nutrition so can help you achieve a healthy and balanced diet.

Reece Samuals

My goal is taking clients to that next level and leading them on the right path to achieving their goals. As your trainer I will deliver effective training plans and nutritional guidance that with hard work and determination are guaranteed to enhance your physique, physical fitness and performance. Whether it’s for a sporting event, holiday or just for general day to day health and wellbeing, every session will be fun and creative to ensure you stay on top of your goals and reach your full potential.

My fitness background is quite well rounded. I train and compete in mixed martial arts and specialise in boxing, wrestling and strength and conditioning.

Over the years training and keeping a structured exercise routine has given me confidence and helped me build as a person in many ways,  am passionate about helping others feel great about themselves by delivery the right type of workouts and coaching needed to achieve results.

Luke Walker

I am extremely passionate when it comes to promoting a healthy lifestyle and I am determined and driven to help people achieve their goals. My aim is to make your training hard and challenging, but also enjoyable and effective.

I really enjoy training myself and take it seriously, I’ve been training myself and others now for years and don’t think there is a better feeling then walking out the gym knowing you’ve worked 100% and couldn’t have given anymore.

I have had experience with training a wide range of people from the super fit to the trying to get fit, there is no discrimination and I believe that anyone brave enough to take the first step and start training are already champions.

Vicki Rustage

My passion for fitness was sparked by my background in dance. My journey started at the age of 18 when I became a self employed, freelance class instructor.

I battled with body confidence and severe anxiety in my late teens and fitness became a huge release. I soon came to realise that overall health is not just about the physical body but also the mind and because of this I am now an advocate for mental health.

My mission is to have a positive impact on everyone I come across and help people grow into healthier, happier versions of themselves, while learning to love the process. I work with people from all backgrounds including experienced gym goers looking to change up their routine, to complete beginners who are just starting their journey. I aim to create fun and enjoyable workouts and help you make sustainable lifestyle changes.

Johnny McGowan

I personal train with the aim of encouraging and educating my clients within a fitness environment.

By using knowledge obtained whilst studying, work experience and over 16 years of training I can help you improve and progress at your own pace and within your own program.

Being an International Judo Athlete I have trained with some of the best coaches, gaining valuable knowledge in strength and conditioning, motivation and nutrition.

The training will be personally tailored around your lifestyle, goals and aims giving you the correct guidance to achieve your objectives.

Maya Petrova

I am very passionate about exercising, keeping active and participating in various sporting events and competitions. I always look for new exciting ways to challenge myself and so far I have done 10 marathons (my PB 3 hours 13 minutes), races like Total Warrior (x3), Dirty Weekend which is 20 miles and 200 obstacles (x2), Major Series (where I finished as a first woman), Howard Hobble Fell Run (32 miles) and many more.

Another passion of mine is HIIT (High Intensity Interval Training) which I have been practicing for last 6 years.

I strive to share my passion and knowledge for healthy living, keeping fit and active. My belief is that healthy lifestyle does not have to be a chore but a lot of fun, especially if it involves friends and family members being active together. Therefore, I enjoy consulting people about possible lifestyle changes, taking one step at a time and guiding them through the process.
